Itinéraire (Kalaw - Baw Nin Gone village - Donn village - Hti Thain Village - Indein- Inle Lake)

The cool mountain air, pine forests, beautiful landscape and ethnic minority villages make Shan state the perfect area for trekking. This 2-day trek with continuously changing scenery will make you discover a part of astonishing landscapes in the Shan state.

Tour Highlights

Trekking to different small, remote villages of Myanmar such as Htun Gone, Khone Hla, Htee Thein (Pa O) Villages, with scenic views of pagodas, local houses and plantations.
Uniquely experiencing an overnight stay at local monastery.
Trekking to the breathtaking Inle Lake, en route enjoying the panoramic view over the lake.
Enjoying a pleasant boat trip to Nyaung Shwe.

Circuit privé : Depart depuis Kalaw

Jour 1

Kalaw - Baw Nin Gone village - Donn village - Hti Thain Village. (-/Déjeuner/Dîner)
Pick up at your hotel in Kalaw then transfer by vehicle from Kalaw to Baw Nin Gone village and start walking from there for the first one hour to Donn village.
On the way, you will see a long line of terraced fields where chilli, cabbage, ginger, rice & wheat grown seasonally.
Then continue another one hour walking to Kone Hla Village, which is the only village where Pa-Oh & Danu tribes are living together in harmony. A nice village surrounded by long-grown bamboo forest.
Lunch is served at this village.
After lunch, strive for the last part of the day for about 2:30 hours from Kone Hla to Hti Thain via Pat Tu Bauk. Enjoy the scenery of colorful fields and the reappearance of sparse pine forest during the trek.
Stop at Hti Thain Monastery to end the day trek. Overnight at the monastery of Hti Thain Village.

Jour 2

Hti Thain Village - Indein- Inle Lake (Petit déjeuner/Déjeuner/-)
The final day of the trekking is shortest of all, just 4 hours the most. It is a walk on easy and comfortable downhill.
Scenery is overlooking one down to a rolling mountain of several different shapes with reddish, yellowish and greenish spots over here and there.
Moreover enjoy the panoramic view of Inle Lake specially the western and north-western parts of the lake.
The track, 45 minutes before Indein, is a walk through a small hidden garden overgrown with young tress and bushes. Then continue to pagoda complex of Indein & end up the trip with having light lunch at somewhere in Indein.
Transfer by boat
