Jour 1

KOTA KINABALU - KINABALU PARK - LABAN RATA (-/Déjeuner/Dîner)
Leave the hotel in the early morning and drive overland to Kinabalu Park by coach or van (2 hours). Arrive at Kinabalu Park. Registrer with the park - Suggestion : transfer to the Timpohon Gate (1,830m/ 6,000 ft) to begin the trek with your mountain guide. ( own account )
This takes about 5-7 hours, with time out to look at the views, birds, animals, soil and rocks of the various vegetation zones up to Laban Rata Resthouse. (3,290m/ 10,700 ft).
Check-in at the Laban Rata Guesthouse and the rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.
Have dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.

Jour 2

LABAN RATA - KINABALU PARK - KOTA KINABALU (Petit déjeuner/Déjeuner/-)
Begin final ascent at 3 am to greet the dawn at the summit (6 am). The stupendous views to be had at 4,096.2m/ 13,432 ft before the clouds rise is well worth the previous day’s exertions; on a clear day, one could almost see all of Sabah. ( own account )
Breakfast at the Resthouse before descending to Timpohon Gate and transfer to Park HQ for lunch.
Return to Kota Kinabalu (KK) in the afternoon

( please note than accommodation in Mt Kinabalu belong to Malaysian Gouvernement. Mt Kinabalu park is controlled by Malaysian gouvernement. There is no exception to this rule )
The 2 days MT KINABALU is available for booking only 30 DAYS before departure tour. If you would like to secure your booking in advance, you must refer to the 3 days Kinabalu trek. The booking for the 2 days Mt Kinabalu are not available more than 30 days before departure tour.
Please note that there is only 4 lodges accommodation in Mt Kinabalu and these lodges are always fully booked. Regarding Mt Kinabalu we recommend you to book almost 4 to 6 months in advance in order to get a bed available.
