This tour leads from central Java’s cultural sense overland to Bali, along East Java’s mountain.

Jour  1
You will arrive at Adi Sucipto Airport in Yogyakarta. After meet and greet by our representative then drive to the Prambanan temple, the temple of the “slender virgin” which also known as complex of Lorojongrang, consist of 3 major temples/shrines in the main area dedicated to respected Hindu’s Tri Murti trinity such as Candi Shiva Mahadeva, Candi Brahma & Candi Vishnu. Enough time is given to stroll and observe the beautiful carvings and the neighborhood shrines such as Candi Plaosan and the Candi Sewu. Continue drive to the hotel in Yogyakarta for check in and overnight.

YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR (56 KM/06 HOURS) (Petit déjeuner/Déjeuner/-)
Breakfast at the hotel.
You will start your day for a cultural tour through the city. Our guide will bring you to the Kraton (Sultan Palace) walking over the remains of the past centuries, you will understand the history of this artistic city. It was built in 1756 by Sri Sultan Hamengkubowono I., which is also a model of traditional Javanese palace architecture and it lies in the center of the municipality. Up to now, Kraton still serves as the Sultan Palace. Over 25,000 people live within the greater Kraton compound named Taman Sari, which contains its own market, shops, batik and silver cottage industries, schools and mosques.
Afterwards continue to Kota Gede,which has been famed as the hub of Yogyakarta’s silver industry since the 1930’s. But this quite old town, which is now a suburb of Yogyakarta, was the first capital of the Mataram Kingdom, found by Panembahan Senopati in 1582. You will visit the busy silver workshops to watch the process.

After lunch, we will bring you to the most spectacular and world’s biggest Buddhist monument complex Borobudur; built around 800 A.D. Looming out of a patchwork of bottle-green paddies and swaying palm tops, this colossal Buddhist relic is one of the continent’s marvels. After the decline of Buddhism and the shift of power to East Java, the monument was abandoned soon after its completion.For centuries the complex lay forgotten, buried under layers of volcanic ash. Climb up to the top and enjoy a wonderful view on the Menoreh Mountains. Enough time is given to stroll around the complex and to discover its beauty.
Afterwards, we continue to visit the nearby located temples such as Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple.

Jour  3
Breakfast at the hotel
Morning after breakfast, start the day with scenic drive to East Java by Sancaka train to Jombang / Mojokerto (depart at 07:25 from Yogyakarta). Along the way you will discover picturesque landscape.
Arrive in Jombang / Mojokerto train station; we continue drive by car to Tosari for 2 - 3 hours nonstop drive.
Lunch will be provided at local restaurant.
In the afternoon we arrive at your hotel for check in and overnight
Accommodation at BROMO COTTAGE (Standard Room) / JAVA BANANA (Deluxe Room)

Jour  4
MT. BROMO EXCURSION – IJEN (205 KM /8,5 HRS) (Petit déjeuner/Déjeuner/Dîner)
Very early morning depart to Penanjakan, witnessing the beautiful sun rise (if weather permit). Then the trip continues to cross the sand-sea to reach the foot of the mount Bromo as the starting point to climb up the stair to the crater. The spectacular view of the range of volcanoes (Bromo, Batok and Semeru) is unveiled along with the rise of the morning sun.


(There is a possibility for elder people to ride on horse-back (pony ride) with supplement at around USD 10 to 15 net / person and to be paid on the spot) (Please note the ideal time to visit Bromo is during the dry season, April to November. At any time of year its cold on these mountains and night temperatures can get down to around 2-5 Celsius.


Finally, we will drive you back to the hotel for refreshment and then continue driving to Ijen. We drive to Ijen Resort and Villas - your luxurious accommodation, perched at the edge of the rainforest in the foothills of the volcanoes.
Lunch is at local restaurant en-route.

Jour  5
IJEN EXCURSION – BALI (70KM/4,5 HRS)+(100 KM/4 HRS) (Petit déjeuner/Déjeuner/-)
05.00 a.m. After an early wake-up call and breakfast, our vehicle carries you through the rural villages, coffee and clove plantations and then into one of Java’s last rainforests. Humidity, wildlife, giant ferns and big trees cover the slope of the mountain, to arrive at the Park Ranger’s post to begin the 90 minute hike to Ijen Crater, along a shady track with spectacular views. The stunning view is unveiled at 2883 meters altitude. The lake eerie color and smoke wafting from bright yellow sulfur deposits create the landscape desolate, barren and vibrantly alive. Watching miners descend into the crater and re-emerge carrying up to 80 kilos of ore on bamboo basket along the treacherous path.
Afterwards, walk down the mountain and we drive back to the hotel. (Please note this excursion not suitable for elderly clients and clients with walking difficulties)
Arrive at hotel around 11:00 hr and then be prepare for continue the trip to Bali Island. We will pass Banyuwangi and then take public ferry via Ketapang Harbour.
Late afternoon arrive in Bali and drop of at your hotel in North or South of Bali area.END OF SERVICES
(Note: Please be prepared for a long trip from Ijen to Bali. It takes about 05 hrs-without stop visit-subject to traffic and waiting time for crossing the strait with ferry).
