All around are fantastically carved leaves, animals, waves and humans running from the mouth in fear.. Then we continue through local villages and small roads to Klungkung, the former regency of Klungkung. Visit the Kerta Gosa, or Hall of Justice. The present justice hall, actually an open bale, is beautifully laid out within a moat and provides an exquisite example of the Klungkung style of painting and architecture.

Stop in Putung for the panorama over the eastern bay.
